Pumpkin Giveaway Gets Help from Curb 2 Curb Transport

Transporting 50 pumpkins from the Commissary to the Wiesbaden Community Spouses’ Club, Inc. (WCSC) Thrift Shop required a combination of muscle and patience. Not to mention a big cargo van.

Curb 2 Curb Transport, a sister company to Everything Around Us, donated time and use of its cargo van in support of the WCSC effort to give back to the community.

“Our primary goal for the WCSC Outreach is to build relationships with our community members and partner with our local organizations,” said Gina Twyman, Outreach Co-Chair.

Community members who spent $20 or more at the Thrift Shop on Oct. 26th could bring a pumpkin home with them.

The Great Pumpkin Giveaway was a part of numerous activities including Retirement Appreciation Day, the MWR Fall Bazaar, a MWR fun run, family activities at the MWR Wiesbaden Activities Center, American Red Cross Wiesbaden’s Third Annual Trunk or Treat, and the opening of the MWR Haunted House.

Curb 2 Curb Transport has supported the WCSC throughout the store move this summer and in providing transport for Thrift Shop property and new donations.
